How many items are in Deadlock? +
There are 173 shopable items currently in Deadlock, split across three slots: 56 Weapon items, 56 Spirit items and 61 Vitality items. Of these, 50 are active abilities you trigger with a keybind and the rest are passive stat boosts.
What are the three item slots in Deadlock? +
Deadlock organizes its shop into three color-coded slots. Weapon (red) items enhance your gun, Spirit (purple) items enhance your abilities, and Vitality (green) items provide health, shields and defensive utility. Each hero buys from all three slots to build a complete kit.
How do item costs work in Deadlock? +
Items are bought with souls, the in-match currency earned from last-hitting, kills and objective play. Every item belongs to one of five purchase tiers, from cheap low-tier stat sticks scaling up through the pricier high tiers. Valve has published costs for the lower tiers, but the top-tier prices are not yet in the live data we track. Higher-tier items are usually crafted from lower-tier components.
